Der 1. Spieltag der noch jungen Saison führte uns am heutigen Sonntag nach Jeddingen, dort trafen Bothel 1 und 2 auf den VfL Visselhövede.
Der Auftritt von Bothel 1 stand dabei von Beginn an unter keinem guten Stern. Bereits zu Beginn des 2. Satzes des 1. Herrendoppels musste Frank Giesges verletzt aufgeben. Somit wurde nebem dem 1. Herrendoppel auch Franks Einzel kampflos verloren.
Ein guter Einstand in der 1. Mannschaft gelang Alexandra Tettmann, frisch im Team konnte sie ihren beiden Spiele (Einzel und Damendoppel) gewinnen.
Am Ende gelang es uns einen nicht ganz planmäßigen Saisonauftakt noch mit einem 4:4 Unentschieden zu gestalten.
Im Anschluß stellte sich Bothel 2 dem Vergleich mit Visselhövede, dabei musste man sich leider mit 2:6 geschlagen geben. Alena Blume gelang es dabei beide Punkte zu gewinnen, zu erst mit Anne Waurich im Damendoppel und anschließend mit Ralf Rose im Mixed.
Ein weiterer Lichtblick war das Auftreten von Rene Röhler. Unser Nachwuchsspieler überzeugte im Doppel sowie im Einzel bei seinem ersten Punktspieleinsatz und bewies, dass er eine gute Zukunftsperspektive darstellt.
